The Vodopivec family has always been known for its love of the land. Even during times of great changes when farming has proved to be unprofitable and many villagers chose the city life, they kept all their orchards and fields. And mostly devotion to tradition and the family tradition. Today, on an orchard with 250 peach trees and 120 cherry trees, Karmela and Dean produce, with the help of their mom Meri and their son Luka, top quality fruit which they mainly sell while some of it they use to make homemade jams and juices. Despite the fact that today farming is more like a hobby to them and less a source of income, they wish to preserve the tradition and share their passion for the village life also on the visitors. They also happily offer all their guests a tasting of extra virgin olive oil from Hvar, which is produced their niece Eva Maria Čurin and has received top international awards in recent years, even in the US.
