The monument - a signpost built by infantry regiment IR 43 - was erected in honor of the commander of the 7th Austro-Hungarian Corps, Archduke Joseph, and also had a signpost function, as it marks the distance to Lokvica and Kostanjevica. The throne of Borojevic (Cesar's - Borojevic's stone chair) was named after the commander of the 5th Austro-Hungarian army, Svetozar Borojevic von Bojna.
